We will be surveying some of the Japanese American organizations that are mobilizing around the call to action on behalf of migrant children and families. Together, we will be choosing one to support by raising funds at our planned January 2020 event!
*Tabemashou is monthly event series centering on food and cooking and their relationship to identity, culture and community. Tabemashou is a space to gather in fellowship and practice community care through cooking and eating together.
Currently Tabemashou is taking on the current issue of the treatment of migrant families and children and the historic relationship to past injustices such as the incarceration of Japanese Americans during WWII.
